Fine art images:

Fine art images, signed, titled, and numbered. Made using acid-free materials. Bilingual write-up about the photo on the back with edition number and serial number. Produced as archivally as possible using pigment-based inks. Matte-finished smooth paper, or texteured or watercolour paper used to suit the image. No plastic or plastic-based paper used.

Materials:

Longevity is always my concern when preparing images for display. Acid free archival materials are used throughout. Pigment-based inks used in printing give better image life span than regular photographs or dye-based images.

Picture Frames:

I use top quality wooden picture frames from Art Pro and do the framing myself. The artwork is protected with plain glass and spaced to ensure no contact between artwork and glass.

Image therapy

Limited Editions:

All of my framed photographs are limited editions of 50 (with a couple of exceptions - 20 and 250). The pictures in a limited edition are produced one-by-one and spread out over time until the limit is reached. I have enough images to work with that I can pick and choose which image to work on each time. The size of subsequent images in an edition may be different and the framing may be different to suite my interpretation of the image at the time. This way there are not several copies of any one image being released at a time which keeps the uniqueness of the image more intact.

Pricing:

The prices for framed photos depend on several factors including the size of my frame order but typical prices are as follows: The measurement refers to the frame size and depending on the style of presentation the image may be the same size or smaller to allow free space around the image.
